Is WebLogic Portal mostly done with Java?

Weblogic is a J2EE application server. So applications running on Weblogic are developed using Java technologies.

I am learning on Tomcat and now have opportunity to learn WebLogic on our WebLogic Development Container. Please advise if this is a more advanced harder container to learn and what I should concentrate on?

I wont touch EJBs until I get more knowledge but want to learn WebLogic working with Beans, Servlets and JSP.
