Java 1.4 VM and Windows ME

I recently upgraded my development environment to Java 1.4 and one of the machines on which it is supposed to run will only run part of the program now. It is the only machine with Win ME. All of the others are Win 98SE and it works fine.

Is there a problem I don't know about here?
