Gentlemen,

Has anyone had success setting up J179 remote phones utilizing an Ingate SBC? I can successfully register the phone and make calls, but no programmed buttons (other than 3 call appearances) appear and buttons such as the voicemail button don't work.

This is a Server Edition Release 11.1

Routing is the following:

Public IP to firewall.

SIP ports go to SBC, which routes to the IP Office.
HTTP port requests are currently directed to the Primary Server

I'm sure there's additional information needed. I'm just not sure if this is specific to an Ingate issue. It doesn't appear the 46xxsettings file is being downloaded at this point.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

That is your issue right there. If the phone does not get the settings file it will still connect to IPO but only as "standard SIP" phone. You should be able to see this if you look in manager at the extension/user and it should say something similiar in SSA. If you get the phone to grab the settings file it should fix the issue.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.
