I have a j179 phone that is not displaying the contextual menu buttons ( Conf, transf,... ) when on call.
I think user has played in the deskphone configuration, but where ?
In the user settings, check that the "Device Type" says "Avaya J179 (SIP Feature)". If it says anything else then is not running SIP or not configured correctly through the settings file.

All phones are in same version : 4.0.1.0.11
All are saying "SIP Features" and have an Avaya SIP License ( I have no 3rd party lic, in fact)
Most are working perfectly, just one is not working as wanted.
