Hi
I have some new J159 with a R11 IPO 500 v2.
Users are power users.

How can I program the buttons on the second display?
How can I let users progamm their buttons obn their own ?

I try to follow the manual but what appear in the manual don't in the phone,

Thanks in advanced

Looking at the J159, it has 4 buttons on the top of the phone along with 3 pages giving you a total of 12 buttons. Those buttons would be programmed in manager using buttons 1-12.

My guess is that buttons 13 onwards represent the bottom panel of pages?

I'm referring to programming in Manager, not by the user.

I only have J169/J179 so I'm not 100% sure but try the above and see if it works?

Thanks, Tim

Well done for posting the results. Strange though... I wonder why they start from button 26? Unless I was wrong about there only being 3 pages of 4 buttons?

Thanks, Tim

There are 6 pages to the top set of button on a J159. Those the lower set start at 25 not 26 if I remember correctly.

The secondary display on the J159/J189 maps to the first expansion module on other J169/J179. Keys 1-24 on the primary display of J159/J189 and only display on J139/J169/J179. Keys 25-48 on the secondary display on J159/J189 and first expansion module on J169/J179.

Great post @gwebster. Pink star for you.

Thanks, Tim

Type in entries for 13, 25, 37 and see where they appear!
