Hey guys, having some issues with making outgoing calls on the J139 and J179 phones. We also have J129 phones connected and they can call out using access code of 9. When I dial 9 on the other phones it doesn't allow the dial to be complete.

it doesn't allow the dial to be complete." - which means what? What do they display? ("Waiting for line", "Incompatible", ...)

Are they installed correctly? ie. are they displaying the Features softkey and the normal IP Office digital phones menus.

What type of IP Office and what level of software?

Hi, yes they show "Waiting for line" or "Incompatible" as soon as the outgoing access code is dialed.

Yes, they are installed correctly they display feature soft keys, menu etc. they can even receive incoming calls. They are using the same IPO system as the J129s which can make outbound calls using access code 9.

The version is IP Office R11 - Build 11.0.0.23

What have you tried to fix this? (Look, an open question into which you now need to insert information rather than only answering those questions we ask).

This is what I've tried so far:
- Creating different short codes, and assigning them to the specific extensions.
- Toggling with ARS configurations
- Logged into the phone web interface enabled the dial out codes, including outgoing access code
- Toggling with the button programming

We have never worked with the J139 or J179 phones before so this is new to me.

That is an Avaya Environment issue make sure that is configured correctly for both J129 and J139/169/179

I changed the environment and added added sip domain as both https and http servers. It's working now thanks
