J129 with SBC

Hello everyone!
Has anyone been able to get a j129 to register with an Avaya SBCE, obviously remotely? the sbc trace doesnt even show the phone attempting to hit it, much less shutting it down for any reason. I use the exact same thing configurations for the sip proxy and domain as the communicator, which is working fine.

Any thoughts?

Also, any fun tricks for using certs on these phones? TLS was a must.

No responses yet huh. I have the same issue cannot get a J179 to register through the SBC. Have not worked on it much as of yet, was hoping to see some responses to your question.

What version of SBC are yo running on?

Geordie This is now working. SBC version 7.2.2 with the critical patch. IPO version 11.0.2.

Jamie, TLS is a must. Certificates are loaded via J100setting.txt file. Works like a champ
