J D Edwards World FASTR Consoldated Balance Sheet Report

Is there any way to make a FASTR Balance Sheet Report run faster? Right now it takes about 22 minutes to complete the report for 14 companies in a consolidated report.
I've tried to create logical views of the F0006,F0901 & F0902 files omitting Closed jobs and balance records that have no amounts at all in them.
I've even tried creating companion files for F0006,F0901 and F0902 with only the data I need. This cut 8 to 10 minutes off the run time. Still too slow.
We run on an old eSERVER 720 9406. Can't get powers that be to foot for an iSERIES box.

Personally I think you are stuck. The new logicals should make it run "faster",, what version of OS400 are you running? As for the powers that be,, us in the field know,, that they really don't care how long it takes to run, as long as they can get their reports. If you want a new machine,, you have to sell the idea of what you get for the new machine,, what added capabilities will you be able to do, with the new box,, Just saying it will not take as long to run reports, is never going to give them a reason to buy.
