IX Workplace on Apple IP Phone

Hi,,,

Anybody else having an issue answering calls with Avaya IX Workplace on Apple iPhone when the phone is locked? To answer the call, users need to unlock the phone first. We haven't come across this problem on Android. Apple IOS software version is 13.4.1 and the IX Workplace version is 3.8.4. The IP Office version is R11.1.
also when calling from IX Workplace on iPhone, the calling party can't hear the voice from Application, on IX Workplace on IPhone can heart the other well.

I believe there are some other posts discussing the IPhone screen lock issue.

For the other issue, how the ix is registering to IPO? Using SBC or port forwarding?

I saw this post and asked about how to implement callKit on iPhone but I don't receive an answer.


about the registration method I used VPN client and port forwarding, both way have the same voice issues on iPhone, the other party cant hears the ix workplace on iPhone, on Android, there is no problem with it, both parties can hear each other.

Did you test the same ext on both ios and android and only android worked?
Were they on the same network when you test it?

I didn’t face the ios issue before, but i ll try to search for something.

yes, it's only worked wit android well, on ios disconnect and not receive when lock the screen.
and yes I test on different networks the same.
I think there is something that must be implemented on ios called callkit framework, but I don't know how to enable it?
