Does anyone know if there is a way to disallow callers from being able to zero out during message recording in a mailbox in IX Messaging? I can control what happens if a caller dials 0 during the greeting via Voice Menu but the caller can still press 0 once the message recording has started. I have not seen any settings that control the caller experience during message recording.

Which TUI are you utilizing? I have found by default they need to be customized and avaya refuses to acknowledge it as a bug. The TUI generally doesn’t match up with their user guide either.

I opted for Aria and you are definitely correct that the TUI doesn't match with the user guide. I ended up making my own quick user guide and sent it out to the users, but my issue is during message recording. I think not being able to control keystrokes during message recording is something that does not exist.

Use the Aries V2 version. Avaya told me this is what the documentation is based on and is most similar to the old AAM Aria TUI. You will then need to customize the TUI. Open up UC Admin and Customize TUI. You can then navigate through the sub menus and remove everything that mentions zero out.
