IWR orphan jobs hanging on the server!

My IWR server constantly accumulates orphan jobs. These jobs do not go away by themselves and require extensive manual intervention in order to kill them.
I am sure everyone who uses IWR has had this problem.
In my case, these jobs overload the server and prohibit automatic catalog updates that run nightly.
Please help!
I am looking for an automated solution to this problem.

Reboot your server, unfortunately that is the simplest solution.
