Hi,
I have a Powerprompt report published. In the upfront, I have changed the display format to Excel in the Properties link under the ReportName.

In run-time, I am changing the TEXT of a text frame in the header using powerprompt.

The report looks perfect in PDF format. In Excel, I am not getting the header(which contains report title, date, time etc). I am getting only the list frame.

How to solve my probs?

Thanx,
Prasad.

You never get page headers in Impromptu reports saved to formatted Excel. This is because of basic differences between how Excel and Impromptu determine page sizes. The work around is to place any report objects you would normally put into a page header into an artificial group header instead. Create a calculated column with a static value of '1'. The group on that column at the highest level of grouping and turn on the group header for display under Primary List Frame Properties | Layout. This should solve your problem once you then set the display area of the group header in the Excel report as a repeating header in Excel. Sorry it's not a simpler answer. I wish it was.
