Anyone know about--or have an opinion on--Iwatsu phone systems? I've gotten some brochures and they look inexpensive compared to larger names, but seem to have some good marks going for them. I need to start selling and placing modest systems this year or die trying.
Alternative: how does one become a Panasonic dealer?

I have been an Iwatsu certified tech for 5 years. I was raised on AT&T, Lucent, Avaya. I think that Iwatsu blows it away. The programming interface is way better. The size can be up to 512 ports presently (1024 soon). It is a true PBX. It will support any type of lines. It has new IP cababilitity for IP phones or networking two switches. I recommend it highly. The new phones that are coming out are beautiful and are price comparable with anyone.

Hi, our company has been an Iwatsu customer for about 12 years. In that time we have purchased 4 systems in three buildings, and each time we evaluate any and all brands available. The products do what is promoted and are less expensive than many of the alternatives. I have recently gotten into the programming end (a partnership with a local vendor) and the interface, etc. is very good (disclaimer: I'm a computer network guy by day). Count us as an Iwatsu customer who would buy another one...

Although I prefer Avaya and Nortel over Iwatsu, I can't say anything bad about it. I cut my teeth on the ZTS, ZTD, and ADIX. The adix is a pretty feature rich system with some nice stuff, but it can be a little fickle and the new windows GUI for programming kind of sucks IMO.

I have been dealing with Iwatsu since 1980.Cut my teeth on the old OMEGA III and IV's.I got certified Adix in 1990.
Just got back from ECS school.VERY COOL!!! Ghostin you need to see the new GUI Programer. All I can Say is that the ADIX is bullit proof.I have never had a complete Failure and I live in the land of OZ.Where thunders just the noise and lightning does the work.I would like to say I could do anything on an ADIX but living in the land of OZ I don't think I have been ask to do everything out there!!I do keep in close contact with Tech support and have help them fix the ACD problem Name and Number. They released a software fix APS 8.13 software.Real good people to work with.
