I have an Iwatsu ECS system in a church/school. They wanted two different greetings. I did not set the system up and the person that set it up is not available.

201 is the school secretary and 208 is the church secretary. The system was set up with 4 Omegatrek phones that are set up as 247 (church day message), 248 (church night message), 249 (school day message) and 250 (school night message). All phones with VM are set to call forward to 700. 247-250 were set for 7000. 247 is set as the delayed ringing phones for trunks 1-4 and 249 for trunks 6-7. 248 is the night ringing phone for trunks 1-4 and 250 for 6-7. 201, 206, 208, 301, 302 and 330 are the ringing phones for all trunks (in that order). VM 201 always picks up the call for all trunks unless it is removed as a ringing phone in which case 301 picks up for all calls.

I set 247-250 as Virtual KT phones and answer and play correct message when called from an extension. I set the call forwarding to 700. Still only VM 201 would pick up.

I finally set up 201 with a menu that allows a caller to choose the church secretary (208), the music minister, the pastor and (if they stay on line) the school secretary (201).

Can anybody tell me how I could have done things differently?

I have programmed a few of the Iwatsu systems but I cannot find any where in the manuals a good all-in-one procedure for setting up auto attendant.
