Iwatsu Adix Trouble

Hi have a strange issue and could use some advise.

I have a customer with an ADIX system ver.7.0 Weather from a lan line or mobile phone; if you call the main line the ADIX phone will ring, when you pick up the handset the light goes green and the solid as if the call is answered, but yet no one is there and the caller continues to ring on their end.

I have replaced the 408 card and the CPU card but the issue continues. Does anyone have sugestions on what is causing the issue?

In the past I found on the earlier Iwatsu systems that if a line was reversed problems could occur but that is a long time ago.
Try the line itself with a pot phone and see if it is ok, there might be an earth on one leg of the line.
If that is ok just try reversing the polarity of the line itself and try it.

If you put the card in "Make Busy" by pushing the little switch on the 408 card down, what do the red LEDs do?
Also confirm the lines are punched on the right pairs, Yellow/Orange 1, yellow/green 2, yellow,brown 3, yellow/slate 4.

I also forgot, it matters what slot you put the card in. They have what they call single highway and dual highway slots. There is a DIP on the card that says "1" or "2-5". So slot 1 has 1 highway and slots 2-5 have 2 highways.
