Greetings,

I have an ADIX-M pbx running software version 4.75. I am looking for software with which I can program this system. I have a IX-COMLINK connected to my PC, but no way to use it...??

I understand their is some software marketed under the name KwikLink that was co-written with Impac software, but I have not been able to locate a copy of this product and my local Iwatsu dealer is unresponsive to my requests.

Also, I'd like to add voicemail functionality to this system without spending lots of $$$. Any suggestions for a cost-effective VM solution to support a small executive suite whereby this system would be used to answer calls for approximately 5 different businesses?

Any advice you could provide would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

The 4.75 software uses the DOS based RPC 7.10 programmer. Sometimes hard to find these days. The CPU is about 8 years old. The system would also need to have an EDVIF. That is a card with Orange tabs that has an RJ-45 on the front. There are newer versions of the CPU that use a windows based programmer and they don't require an EDVIF card.

Iwatsu has an OEM voice mail manufactered by Carolina Digital. Yhat installs in any slot in the cabinet. That is windows based also.

The unit you have is not for programming. It is a device that used with the Kwiklink software that would allow you to have a "softphone" on your computer. This would let you make and receive calls from your pc, tie in to PIM software, etc.. You should look at upgrading your CPU for newer features, windows programming, etc.

Thanks for the helpful advice from each of you. I'll see what I can do to find a newer CPUP in order to get windows programming functionality.

What I am seeking to do with mhy IX-Comlink is to incorporate TAPI support to my PC so that it can pass caller ID information to my office management sosftware, which then could give me a screen pop with the appropriate client's file.

Thanks again for your help!

I know that the comlink will interface with certain software like ACT. I'll check for the comlink driver today and get back to you. I've set them up before. Sometimes there a little problematic.
