Hi guys, please advise if I missed something here.

I setup a IVR on VMpro, added the recorded message from Menu to play the welcome message but this doesn't work, the caller here it ringing instead of playing the welcome message.

The trunk line is SIP, recorded message is saved as wav. sample: 16 bit, sample rate: 8khz, channels: Mono.

It is IP office 500 V2 Essential Edition R11.1. VMpro server is app server on linux.

Have you tried testing it by using a short code.
This will prove the module works.

Have you tried testing the sip line to a mailbox to see if that works.
This will prove the sip line working correctly with the voicemail.

Have you looked at SSA to see if the voicemail pro is answering it.

How is the ICR route set up

Bear in mind Embedded and VM pro are different.

Yes, IVR works fine when testing it from shortcode.

I tried to map the ICR into a extension and it works fine.

I saw rom SSA, the call point to mailbox (modulename).

ICR is router and the destination is set as VM:(modulename).

Route the ICR to your shortcode you tested with and see if it answers and plays it then.

You have proved that the short code works already.

Thanks @ snowman50 for the inputs.

It was a issue with the RTP ports. I set to the default RTP ports and then the IVR plays without issues.

Sip lines always baffle me….

We have a set up procedure and all that is usually taken care off so as I don’t have to think about it.

STAR for pointing out the issue
