Hi

Trying to set up a database dip in an IVR, however every time I try to enable the script I get an error:-

No matching pair of Close Database for Open Database

I do have a close for the open so not sure why I am seeing this.
I even deleted them both, made a new ODBC DSN and re-added the open and close...

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Never had any issues with it.

Attach the IVRscript export and someone can take a look, otherwise check TTLogs for IVR or CCUI.

Do you use the same database variable in your open and close elements?

Hmm..... I'm not sure if you're gonna hate me now but this just happened after I imported your skript into an IPOCC 9.1 test installation of ours without changing anything:

I'm going for a beer....

hehe I may delete mine and import the one I sent you!

Nope, that didn't work either.
The fact that it enabled on your system OK is a real puzzle...

Mine is 10.0.3 as well....bug?

Might be, although I doubt it..
Have you tried a real simple script like "Start - OpenDB - CloseDB - End"?
Alternatively have a look at TTrace/IVR with all categories enabled, that might help with finding the error.

I got the same error first.
I changed so all the "Error" lines go to Shut CC except from Open CC and after that it worked.

If you open a DB connection and after that something fails you should always close the connection before exiting the script.

That fixed it thanks Janni.

I seems you have to follow the script through and there must always be a close DB whatever path you take through the script.
If it finds even one path with no close DB it fails

Many thanks!

So this is what I was trying to get to.
If Topic voicemail is handled by the IPOCC the standard VM-CC_Play_repeat_delete gives you the option to keep a message, but then no way to go back an play the message!
So I wanted to write a little script to be able to query the OLD messages for a topic, and replay, delete etc.

I did the attached, which is still very basic and needs some work, but does the job!

Thanks for the help!
