IVR basics

i need to set up a voicemail with welcome-press 1 go to message(record from phone?), press 2 go to outside phone. do i do this on meridian or symposium. i am new to these particular switches. please tell me how. thank you

What voicemail system do you have? Perhaps Meridian Mail or Call Pilot? Please give some details on how calls will get to this option -- you mentioned Symposium, are these calls that are in Symposium?

hi thank you for replying. i believe i only need to use call forward off of 500 phone. its actually separate from the symposium (believe just call center for symp).i dont know how to forward to an outside line.system is meridian mail. thank you again

OK, but you can setup your IVR either just in MMail (Call Pilot) or via Symposium script.

In your programming of the 500 phone,in the CLS, Change CFTX to CFTA or CFD to CFA,
