We have two Cisco MDS9509 switches and a SAN_EXTN_OVER_IP license installed on each. IVR has been successfully set up on one switch but any attempt to set it up on the other fails. E.g. using the IVR Wizard gives, on pressing Finish:
CP-MDS-SW2:ivr:No available license - Enterprise or SAN ext.
However, Admin, Licenses shows:
SAN_EXTN_OVER_IP permanent counted 1 Unused never
I.e. there is an available, unused license with no expiry. We have tried un-installing and re-installing the license to no avail.
Anyone resolved this type of issue before? We're scratching our heads here. Any help would be appreciated.
