I've never used an activeX and need help 1

I'm working on a VB.Net web form app which is to be a Contact Management software. I'm trying to use DBI Technologies, ctAlarm.ocx. It's an ActiveX controller I'm trying to use in my program as a way of implementing a reminder system.

Does anyone here have experience with this ActiveX?
Does anyone here have experience with using ActiveX in a web form?
I've tried going thru their documentation but I'm lost.
I've looked at their demos, but they don't have one showing this control doing anything.
I've been able to put the control on my form, but I can't figure out what to do next.

If someone could show me how to get even a "hello world" messagebox, then I may be able to figure out the rest, I hope. If you have used another alarm control then I'd like to know what it is... maybe I'd like it better than what I'm using...

If you are using VB.Net then you would be better off posting in the VB.Net forum. VB and VB.Net have different syntax.

Have you looked in any code banks, such as

http://www.planetsourcecode.com,

for examples.

You might alos want to look at some free tutorial sites such as

http://www.freeskills.com
