I've lost all keyboard commands for Fireworks

I own Fireworks MX 2004. I am not sure when this started, but recently I noticed that I have no keyboard commands. I can't cut, paste, or use my nudge arrows, etc. How can this be fixed? Thanks and happy hew year.
