I've got a couple of ThinkPads 380D which I am going to use as portable on-site probes. I bought 3C3FE574BT NIC's for them; unfortunately, freeBSD 4.4 doesn't recognise the NIC's, and I couldn't find any driver for those cards for any flavor of UNIX. In ifconfig the card looks like "faith0", with no IP assignments.

How can I overcome this problem, short of installing OpenBSD instead of FreeBSD, which does have support for those cards?
