Hi,

Whilst cleaning spyware out of my registery I accidenty deleted the hkey_class>interface folder instead of a file/key inside it. Is there any way I can reinstall this as the whole system is full of errors now, I can still access my machine, I also have another PC of similar setup. Is it possible to restore the files of replace them with the ones from the othe machine?

Cheers,

Mazza.

you can use sfc to check and restore system files. Start>Run>type in CMD click OK. In the Command Prompt type sfc you then get a number of commands that you can use. Make sure you put your Windows 2000 CD in your CDrom. The files will be replaced from it.

Good Luck

Neilmaza,
I also have a problem as Neimazza, but when I type sfc, a alert message occurs as following:
(application failed intilialize properly (0cx000012d), Click OK to terminate application.)

I think I have some problems with my operating system concern with pagefile (sometimes mysystem require to increase virtual memory, when I access into control panel, or...)

Help me to solve it. Thanks in advanced

More about my problem
I've increased my virutual memory in pagefile, but when I restart the computer I received a message with title: (tcpsvcs.exe application error
the instruction at "0x701f688" referenced memory at "0x0000000d4" Memory could not be read
Click on OK to terminate
CLick on Cancel to debut)

I then clicked the Cancel and received a message: unhndled excption in tcpsvcs.exe (ESENT.DLL): 0x00000005
Access violation)
what can I do with my Computer now
