Good Morning:

I try tu change a ITYPE for a digital extension in this case is a Dialog 4223. I have this model in other extensions and work fine without any problem with the itype=28. But in only one extension, when i try to update the itype i have this result;

<KSCAC:DIR=8574,ITYPE=28;
NOT ACCEPTED
KEY = 23 NOT TNS
<KSCAC:DIR=8574,ITYPE=29;
NOT ACCEPTED
KEY = 23 NOT TNS

If i choose another itype, no problem.

<KSCAC:DIR=8574,ITYPE=20;
EXECUTED

But the correct itype is id28 and not 20.

What does means "KEY = 23 NOT TNS"?

Thanks in advance,

what is key 23? it is not a TNS key so change it to TNS and then make the change to TNS and re-enter the key as you would like it after,

best parnum

Hi Wofoster,

the problem that the key layout changes depending on the ITYPE .
ITYPE 20 has more keys than ITYPE 28, so key 23 doesn't exist on ITYPE 28. If Key 23 is a special key (like MDN/ADN) then changing the ITYPE will be prevented.

Please post the results of KSFKP:DIR=8574; so we can guide you to remove the key.

/Daddy
