Please excuse me if I've misposted this, this is the closest forum I could find to where I felt this question was appropriate.
I'm thinking of getting an iPod but I just want know if all my current catalog of mp3's will go to waste (as far as use on the ipod goes).
They are ripped from CD's which I own, so from a legal standpoint I don't believe I have a problem--but I've heard that Apple forces you to only buy songs from iTunes for the iPod.
What is the truth on this...(or please direct me to a more appropriate forum if this is misposted). Thanks,
