itm-mcell-u, What is this ?

I have been looking in my firewall logs and I can see that various different IPs on my LAN are sending out broadcasts on port 1828 which is itm-mcell-u.

I have no idea what this is, wheneve I do a search online for this I can only find port listings and never decsriptions of what it does.

Any info on this would be very helpful Regards

Those are broadcasts from the MasterCell product from IT Masters.

MasterCell is part of their framework and can be used to interface various Enterprise Network Management systems. Here is their support site:
