Hi,
with DM Classic we programmed some basic monitors (Filesystem, Services, Processes) to read a file located on the endpoint, containing ie all services to be monitored. This gave us the ability to only create one monitor, what makes the rollout of basic monitoring very easy. The System-Admins are able to add/delete services to this file to fulfill their needs and we don't have to create lots of monitors, profilemanangers and so on and keep them uptodate.
Would anyone know or even programmed the resource model using the workbench to read custom files to use as input for monitoring?
We'd like to do it in java, so we can use the coding on all platforms.
Rgds
