ITG(IP Phone) to Digital cant make calls

Hi All,
I am installing a Mini system, on that i cant make a Call from IP phone to IP phone and IP phone to digital also not working. But the phones are getting register and the channels are idel....i dont know why i am not able to call ....help pls

I had one time the ssme problem when the smc was in the expansion cabinet, i always use a slot in the main cabinet.

When you stat the IP card in the switch, does it show REG or UNREG. It may be idle but not registered.

I would not suspect the SMC card because you cannot make calls from IP to IP. These calls would not require any channel on the SMC card. My uneducated guess right now is some kind of network issue that is not allowing VOIP traffic between switch ports. You can test this by setting up the TLAN on a dumb hub that you know works. If calls complete from IP to IP, you know that there is something going on with the LAN. Are the 2 IP phones you are testing with connected to the same switch and on the same subnet as the TLAN NIC on the SMC? If not, check the VLAN settings on the switch or the firewall on the router between subnets. And as always, post your results when you find a solutions...

what error are you getting when you try to ring an extension is it something like release and try again.

What zone are your IP phones in?

What codecs are you using for the IP sets?

Can you post an IP extension of the system?

go to ld 117 and do the following
prt zone

Look for zone 0 and I suspect it says disabled. If that is the case, do the following
enl zone 0

Then try again. I believe you have to enable zones before you can use them. Also, normally, you should not use zone 0. It shouldn't matter in a test environment, but keep in mind for production...

The zone "0" was enabled...i am using other option 11c its zone "0" only all the phones are working fine.

Zone 0 don't have to be used. Refer NTPs
Use zone 1 and higher ONLY

What about the error message when you dial extension?

Is the Elan established on the Meridian and ITG card.

Have you sysloaded the system.

Yes, I can ping from ITG to Meridian and Meridian to ITG. The C-lan i can ping from out side.
I am using 3.0 software, more over one option 11C was running with 350 extensions with Node 0, I never faced any problem.The both systems are 3.0 software.
