Item Master: Negative on the QTY on Order

What would cause it to display a negative number on the QTY on Order in the Item Quantities Maintences screen?

Do you have any unposted PO returns?

Not that I know of...But what the most accurate procedure to look for unposted returns? I went through the Return Batches and Return Trx Entry.

That's the correct place to look. You could also try reconciling the one item number under utilities > inventory > reconcile.

common problem. User started a PO and qty on order got updated. Sometimes cancelling line adjusts, sometime it doesn't... Deleting PO usually causes imbalances for some odd reason. Reconcile fixes.
