I was attempting to override the route lead times within AX for a specific product with a standard lead time, and I keep running into problems.
I have a product "A" which has a route that takes 1 hour to produce. I've assigned a Lead Time ->Production Time of 3 days within the "Item coverage" part specific settings. I've also selected "Override time fences" and set the capacity time fence to 0 for the product specifically. My understand was that this setting would ignore the route / capacity requirements and instead would use the Product Time lead time instead, but this is not the case. When I manually create a new planned order with a delivery date of 5/8, I would expect to see a start date of 5/5 (using the product lead time) but instead the order reverts to the route lead time, and creates a start date of 5/8.
How can correct for this and tell AX to use my lead time instead?
