Item import problem

We are setting up another compnay for one of our subsidiaries to use in ACCPAC. When the items are importing it gives an error message of:

1.System error, etc SvrView: IC0310 Code:3.3816.0
2."Fail to put value into view"
3.Stopped processing at record 0 in items

Any suggestions as to what the problem might be. Thank you.
