I was hoping you might be able to help. My Nephew is currently attending school and was told that he may be misdirected. Please check the email he sent me below and let me know your opinion's. IT Professionals only please....
I need some career advice. I am currently enrolled at my local Community College, in a Networking/IT certificate program. As a result of this program I can get my MCSE or CCNA. Is this a good program to land a decent job in the field, or should i really be trying to get my BS. If so i need to change my focus to a computer science AS that will transfer to a 4 yr college.
Here are my goals -
I want to get into the field as fast as possible.
I don't want to limit myself to the bottom level of the industry.
I want a stable position with a growing company
