I need to set up a MIC so only the receptionist rings 1st, if she is busy would then ring all other ext.
Where to start?

I would start by defining "busy".

You can program the reception phone to automatically forward calls to another phone if it is busy (Forward on Busy) or not answered (Forward No Answer), or both.

In this case, "busy" means that a call is currently active. If you program Forward on Busy, the phone rings when it is idle, but it forwards without ringing when it is busy. Is it what you want?

allworxguy's suggestions are great, too. Just a few comments, though.

If you decide to go with hunt groups, you will need MICS 4 or later. Also, keep in mind that hunt groups are overridden by line appearances. Furthermore, hunt groups are not designed to handle more than one call at a time (although it can be worked around).

If you decide to go with the Delayed Ring Transfer feature, you will need to use an actual DN as the prime set for the lines. In other words, it cannot be a hunt group DN, but it can be a phantom DN.
