it dont sees with dos tracert how come

i read in tutorials tht we can see cisco by tracert command but its not showin how is tht
 
Traceroute is a type of ping command but gives a bit more information. It's not cisco specific, you can traceroute any IP node.

The syntax is pretty straightforward,

traceroute *target IP* ( Unix/Cisco router)
tracert *target IP* ( MS version)

The command will show you the path taken to the target and what the average reponse time is at hop. Very useful tool for troubleshooting.
