Issues with linux and Linuxant

I have a linux system set up with a USR 5416 card and wireless router. I'm using Linuxant (ndiswrapper) to configure my card but unfortunately the card doesn't keep it's ip once i start the activation of my eth1. i was hoping someone could shed some light on this subject.
