This is on a BCM50. We've purchased the IP Client seats and 2050 4.x licensing seats from Avaya. The users PC's are Windows 7, so I am stuck with having to use version 3.x or 4.x
I have generated the license on the KRS, and downloaded the ipctokenXXXXXXXX.cfg file. I am getting stuck on applying this to both the BCM and/or the licensing server application from Avaya.
The documentation I've found has not been very helpful. The best I've found suggested replacing the "counted.lic" file with the .cfg file, but the .cfg file is not in the right format. I've also attempted to upload the .cfg to the BCM's built in HTTP server (in IP Telephony) to broadcast to the softphone, but the same result.
The licensing server is practically all DOS based with no instructions, and I can't locate how to apply the licensing file to it to send to the softphone.
If anyone out there could point me to step by step instructions on how to get this completed, that would make my week. The customer is very frustrated at how complicated this has become.
