Hi all,

Can someone please get back to me and clarify and or procedure on how to setup a comfort greeting message for incoming calls please. I have a client who has a Samsung 7030 system with 3 pstn/ trunk lines. Due to the number of calls coming in they would like me to setup that the system will answer all calls after 10 seconds with a message stating to hold as the operator is busy and then get a MOH music and after 30 sec if they call has not been picked up a second message stating their call is important to us yarda yarda and then put back on hold. At the reception end there handset will still be ringing till call has been answered.

I have download a backup file and tried to find in the programming to set this up but without success. I would appreciate if someone please get back to me with assistance please. look forward on a response back. thank you

Regards

Hi chriskane001. Try setting up the Station Group in MMC601 as an UCD Group with Unconditional Members. Then in MMC607 you will see first and second message. Change these to 1020 and 1021 (Unrecorded Prompts) These can be recorded by programming a VM ADMIN button onto the handset. In the VM Admin spiel press Option 1 to get to the prompts and then enter the prompt no. to record the first comfort message (1020) and second comfort message (1021). In MMC607 Set up your Wrap Up, Next and Recall Times accordingly. Set Auto Logout to No.

Hi A1D05,

Thank you for your response, I will be going on site in the next few days to finish this off. I have already setup the MMC601 and also MMC607, but was not sure on how to get into the voice prompts to change the messages till now. Will try this and let you know. Thank you again.
