Issues with BCM 400 4.0 static missing info etc

Heres my issues.

Have a BCM 400 4.0 no patches

One day the sets start loosing connection with the server (i2004 ip sets) and reconnecting every ten minutes.

So I logged in remotely network looks fine, I rebooted the BCM and it came back with no sets registered. Luckily I did a backup before the reboot and I did a restore and got all but 4 sets programming back.

Worked fine for a couple days but now they are getting random static on the analog trunks. Tried rebooting sets and even forced a firmware reload to a set and neither worked.


I am going onsite to test the lines and was thinking I should load the latest patches as well.

Any ideas?

Definitely load the system patches. They should include the newer firmware for the IP phones. The older I3004 phones had an issue with rebooting for no apparent reason. I imagine the trunk issue may be patch related too if you are not hearing noise when you connect to them directly with a test phone.

Loaded the patches so far so good, will give it a few days
