Hello all,

I have been encountering this issue between Legato and MS Exchange and have not been able to resolve it. Everytime Legato attempts to backup IS from exchange i get this error:

riexchange:MSEXCH:IS nsrxchsv.exe: The system cannot find the file specified.

Needless to say this is a pretty important issue since without the IS backup we basicaly have no Exchange backup. Any assistance with this matter would be greatly appreciated.

If i assume that you installed the Exchange module, it looks like the path has not been set probperly.

Hello again,

Well the previous error was caused due to a corrupt Exchange module 4.01, once I uninstalled it and re-installed it the issue was resolved and IS is getting backed up properly.

I am still experiencing an issue with exchange that I thought the Exchange module would resolve but has not. There are specific mail boxes that we tag for backup however they too have stopped working and I get this report from the messages log file:

Is this stating that it is having a problem communicating with teh Global Catalog? I am at a loss, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does the account you are using for the backup have full rights on exchange. You will need this to back it up.

It looks like the account which you use use to perform the backup does not have permission within AD to query and get a list of Global Catalog Servers

Try to use an account from the Domain Adminis Group.
