All,
I am having an issue with running the WSUS Server Cleanup Wizard we start here.. I will select all boxes to clean up such as,
- Unused updates and update revisions
- Computers not contacting the server
- Unneeded update files
- Expired updates
- Superseded updates
Once the system tries to update I then receive an error that states,
Error: Database Error
An error occurred when trying to perform a database operation. This can happen if the database is very busy, if the database service is stopped, or if the connection to the database is lose. Please contact your system administration if the problem persists.
Click Reset Server Node to try to connect to the server again.
I have rebooted the VM that this application is sitting on still receive the same error message, I have also tried to reset the server node and still get the error message, and I've closed the application out and restarted but still the same error.. Any suggestions? We are using XP as well thanks for any suggestions!
