Issue with SCCS 4.2 Agent RTD with XP

Hi all,

Wondering if you could help?
I am running Windows xp 1.1 and have SCCS 4.1.7 with Version
7 of the Client with servvice update 10C.

I have only one Team Leader who cannot open the Agent Real Time Display.
All builds of PC's are fairly standard.
Does anyone know of a patch that can fix this?

Your help appreciated!
 
For PC’s running XP/w2000 who have had difficulty with the install.
Try the following.
1. Go to START – RUN
2. Type DSEDIT
3. Click on OK
4. The GRTD_SERVER should be listed as an interface driver.
5. IF not add it in manually
a. Click server Object
b. ADD
c. Enter server name as GRTD_SERVER
d. ADD a server address as TCP-xx xx xx xx,5000

where xx xx xx xx is the IP address of the SCCS

Is this for GRTD or just RTD via Client?

 
Sorry, this is GRTD only. If your issue is with RTD in the app then it's another issue.
Can the Team lead open the display using another log-in but their own PC ? If so check the access permissions. Maybe rebuild the account.

Thanks for your help but it ended up being a user error.

So many programs open and the Agent Real-time display always opens minimized. I just had to maximise and it works fine.
