Issue with retrieving dates from oracle db

Hi all,

I have to retrieve the date and time and use getDate at present. The date is fine but its setting the hours mins and secs to 0. I have tried getTime, getTimestamp but neither seem to work. Any ideas on what will work?

Date, as an SQL value, does not contain the time. I have successfully changed over to Timestamp and it has worked this time.

Burning the midnight oil a little too low me thinks...
