Hello,
I am working on some intermittent issues for a customer. They are using the NEC OEM MH-160 wifi handsets. Here is what they are reporting.
Fake ringback when making an internal call. They hear ringback, but the destination phone never rings.
Dead air for 1-3 seconds during a call
Dropped calls
Reject internal server message when trying to register a phone
Invalid number of digits error when dialing if the phones are not registerd to the call center.
I am leaning towards this being a firmware/software issue and possibly a wifi issue in regards to the dead air/dropped calls problem. The first problem could be a SIP profile issue. Sounds like it's send an ACK without actually completing the call or it could be an problem with the DSP resources in the phone system. I was curious if anyone has experienced any of these and has any feedback.
