Issue with Lamps Turning off on phones MCD 5.0 (Second vMCD Release) 1

Hi Chaps,

Anyone had any issues with Message Lamps turning off throughout the day even though the voicemail has not been checked?

Appears to be around an hour when the lamp turns off.

They are on vMCD 5.0 with Nupoint running the latest also.

Any suggestions?

Are you using Mitai MWI?
if so chech SUPERSET Callback Message Cancel Timer in the system options is set to 'blank' it is 24 by default

I just changed that a hour back, just testing it now. DO you think that will resolve it?

Try this in system options...mine is set to 255..Just a thought..

SUPERSET Callback Message Cancel Timer
Enter a number in the range of 1 to 255 hours, in increments of 1 hour. This value defines the length of time for which a callback message will be displayed on a telephones LCD display. If this field is left blank the message will not be cancelled.

•Note: If the 3300 ICP is connected to the Speech Server Unified Messaging application or the Messaging Server application through an IP integration, set this field to blank. Otherwise, the Message Waiting Indication (MWI) lamp for the connected phones will be turned off when the timer expires (24 hours by default).

Changed from what? To What?

If changed from 24 (default) to Blank then most definitely will help.

If your original assessment that the message was turning off after 1 hour is valid then I don't think so.
