I am trying to get a Lenovo X60 to connect to our VPN concentrator using Fiberlink E360 1.4.500.100 and Cisco VPN Client version 4.8.00.0440. The problem is that when connected to the VPN if the PC goes into standby and then you wake it up you can no longer connect to any outside hosts. I can ping the local host and that's it. It seems that the E360 is not releasing the VPN to do it's thing because I don't get a reconnect question when I come out of standby. The service provider that is providing this software has made it clear that they do not care if it works for us or not. So I am essentially on my own with a product I don't know much about. I tried removing E360 and the problem does not happen then so Fiberlink is the cause. If I restart the cvpnd.exe service I can then connect to anything I want to again. Any help would be greatly appreciates.
