I’m trying to export my report to a txt file, but I have a space in front on each line.

The txt file looks like this,

D,42Q007 ,42Q10007,2008-12-31,6,516,562,A,00
D,42Q030 ,42Q10030,2008-06-31,6,210,563,K,00

But I need to be like this,
D,42Q007 ,42Q10007,2008-12-31,6,516,562,A,00
D,42Q030 ,42Q10030,2008-06-31,6,210,563,K,00

In the report I don’t have space and I don’t know why I’m getting this extra space in the export txt file.
Working with CR 8.5

Can any one help me.

Thanks,

All export formats make some changes to the display of the data in your report.

For that reason we developed a User Function Library that builds a file while the report is processing. The Grid Function libary avoids a lot of these limitations. You can download a trial version from our web site.

There is no real solution, but things worth trying are:
a) Change the font to Courier, fixed-spacing font.
b) Put fields together as one big field.
c) On exporting, change the 'Characters per inch' to 16, or whatever the maximum is for you
