Hi all,

I am having an issue with a nec 9300, where users are having audio issue both ways.
You hear the person talk or vice versa, then you hear a beeping sound and the sound goes quiet.
From what i understand no one made any changes in the firewall or network.
Also what i noticed on a few phones, is that the sometime disconnect searching for sip server randomly.
It is very strange as it started last night.

Does any one have an idea what could cause this issue. I tried using wireshark but then i found out nec 9300 doesn't support wireshark

Thx in advance

Sorry doesn't make sense! Wireshark will work with anything if that is what you mean as it only looks at what is going over ethernet, are your extensions IP or not?

The extension are IP, so it is suppose to work.

Can you set up port mirroring on your switch so that you can mirror what is going to and from the CPU? If not, I would set up a POE switch and put the cpu and some extensions on it to see if the issue happens on a truly local network. That way you can rule out your network! If it doesn't happen on the "local network" then you have to find out what is the problem on your network! I have a kit where I can mimic the customer's network with a 4G interface if on sip so that I can prove the system works off the customer's network. It has got me out of all kinds of arguments!
