We have been experiencing ongoing issues with outside callers getting cut off while leaving messages. Currently running CM2.0. Has anyone else experienced this issue or could offer any resolution?
Always external callers. Usually from one of our remote sites who access MM via IP trunks. Callers may be hearing a message to the effect of "please make an entry or be disconnected..." or something like that.
sounds like a log in the voice cut thru from the far end on the IP trunks

Problem Description:
IGAR-PSTN calls that cover to QSIG Integrated Modular Messaging miss the first 3 to 4 seconds of the mailbox greeting.
Resolution:
Contact your technical support organization. Request and apply patch 11104 or any later patch that includes 11104.
Alternatively, upgrade to Release 3.1 of Communication Manager.
Workaround or alternative remediation:
N/A
Remarks:
This happens because the IGAR-PTSN IGC has not yet completed setting up when Modular Messaging answers the call on a QSIG trunk.
