Hi all,

I am trying to install Avaya WebLM-7.0.0.9-16703-e55-19.ova , 7.0.x in VM ware 6.7 for so that I can use it to install the sbc license in vm ware.
But i received the message: By deploying the WebLM OVA: Issues detected with selected template. Details: - 339:3:ELEMENT_ILLEGAL: Element ''AvayaSection'' is not allowed.
Is this an issue with the vm ware that I am using or is it something else?

Thank you in advance

You might need to use WebLM 8.x for VMWare 6.7, think 7.x was only supported on VMWare 5.x.

Question is what you gonna do with it since nothing for IPO needs it :)

Thank you janni78,

I will try it, since the sbc version is R7
Will let you know

HI Janni78,
I got the weblm 8.0 installed
and I can login to the web interface of weblm 8.0
But since I have version 8.0 and the licenses are for R7 for the sbc, can this work?

Ok I have the loaded the license in the SBCE
A quick question, in the SBC system management--> Licensing, where I enter to go to the webLM of the Avaya server edition, do I also enter in the server edition Domain URL where there is default the IP of the avaya server edition?

No I'm confused, are you trying to use a standalone WebLM or the SE WebLM for the SBCE ?

If you install SBCE as a VM or on server hardware you'll need a standalone WebLM, on the Appliance you can use either a local or standalone WebLM.

Avaya doesn't support using other licenses on the Server Editions WebLM although it will probably work.

In EMS under Device Management -> Licensing you select the WebLM you wanna use under Access URL.

Hi janni78,

I was trying to put a WEBLM as stand alone, but when I saw the server edition has the Weblm it self, I tried using that, to get the SBC to get the licenses, but I keep the Avaya SBCE cannot obtain licenses from WebLM server in the ACCES url
The SBC and SERVER edition are in VMware.
It should work correct?

I saw something about certificate and to upload it to the EMS as shown in the attachment.
Should I extract the certificate and load it?
If so where do I extract this certificate?

If you get the error described in gui.log you'll need to import the SE CA certificate to the SBC.

Hi Janni78,

How can import the the SE CA certificate, I been searching for this info without success.

Does anyone know the steps to get the SE CA certificate so I can import it to the SBC
